Roland,

According to Klaus J Brandt in "Hosoda Eishi 1756-1829" (Stuttgart 1977), p 110, only eight of the twelve prints of this series have survived.

The title of your print is "Ych" (陽中), which is said to be a synonym of "spring" or "spring month". I haven't been able to find the word in any of my Japanese dictionaries, though.

Still according to Brandt, the series was published in 1787-88.

Best regards,
Hans Olof
