The mark you've found on both those prints doesn't look like a signature. More likely it's a publisher's mark, but unfortunately it has become rather distorted in the creping process, and it's difficult to identify the three hiragana characters.

It looks a bit like the hiragana version of the Adachi mark, but as far as I know the Adachi company (one of the leading producers of ukiyo-e reproductions) wasn't founded until 1925, and by then crepe prints were probably long out of fashion.
