The artist is Yoshiiku (1833-1904), but it doesn't look like a picture that was published as a separate ukiyo-e print, as the usual publishing information is missing. The characters in what looks like a title cartouche are hiragana, but they don't make any sense to me. The handsome sum of a hundred ryō ("金百両")seems to be changing hands in the picture, so maybe it's a scene from a theatre play?
