The signature reads Ôju Hiroshige 応需広重 and belongs to Utagawa Hiroshige III (1842-1894).

The title of the triptych is Nezu hana yashiki ômatsubarô zensei soroi no zu 根津花屋敷大松葉楼全盛揃之図 which can roughly be translated to "Picture of the Ômatsuba house of the garden (=brothel) in Nezu in the height of its prosperity". The red cartouches next to the women show the names of the courtesans.

The triptych was published in 1885.
