OK, have spent some more time digging.

I believe the text reads 「朝比奈 三郎義秀」("Asahina Saburō Yoshihide"), the name of a semi-legendary 13th-century warrior. See

I haven't found much on this particular series, except a listing for what looks like another print from the same series on a Japanese-language auction site:

Unfortunately that listing has no useful additional information.

What I can say is that both prints have a standard-looking "paired" nanushi censor seal, indicating an original publication date of 1847-1852. The publisher seal is that of Sanoya Kihei.
