I looked at the response to my 7/13 post asking for the name of the artist of two Osaka prints. I agree that the characters used in the go name of Hironobu which you gave examples of, are the same as the first characters in one of the signatures of the prints I published. In checking further for Hironobu prints I think the characters are Hakusui which is a name used by Hironobu (see OsakaPrints.com). In looking at the characters of the signature I think possibly the name is Yoshihiro who was active in Osaka in the 1860's. How would you read the signature?
