Good find Alec. In following some of the leads by the other contributors I believe the prints from the following book, written by Ryutei Tanehiko and illustrated by Kunisada I. I found the article on Wikipedia (see below) with a couple of pictures of the illustrations which match the style and signature on my prints so, I think they were done by Kunisada between 1829 and 1842

The Nise Murasaki Inaka Genji, Published at the end of the Edo period, is a literary parody of Murasaki Shikibu's Genji monogatari. Ryūtei Tanehiko (1783-1842), with illustrations by Utagawa Kunisada, is published as a wood print between 1829 and 1842 by Senkakudō
