After finishing all prints by Hiroshige (started in 1830 or 1831) they have been published in two volumes by Takenouchi Magohachi. The foreword of this edition is dated 1st month tenpō 5 (c. 1/1834), but the address of Takenouchi Magohachi given in this book is one, he didnít use before early 1836. Itís not clear (and will never been clear) when the last prints of the series have been finished, but with great probability all prints of both books were not first edition prints.
More informations are given in German here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_53_Stationen_des_T%C5%8Dkaid%C5%8D_(Hoeid%C5%8D-Ausgabe ; all displayed images are from original prints in different versions) (the article has been written by me but my English grammar is to awful for an English version :-) ).
