Please forgive the newbie in the room. From a reputable Japanese antiquarian bookseller I purchased what I was told are five ukiyo-e printing blocks that were carved for an illustration by Toyonobu (1711-1785). From the dealer's description: "probably re-carvings of a word by Toyonobu." Included in the set of five woodblocks was one woodblock-printed leaf, for which please see image (URL).
I would be grateful to know your thoughts.
