I have been looking at the triptych for many years wondering what is going on in the artwork. This morning I have been using Google and your help to find more information. Here is a print that has two of the same people depicted. They have the same look about them by a different artist.

I also found this information: aira no Kiyomori (平 清盛, 1118 March 20, 1181) was a military leader of the late Heian ... First son: Taira no Shigemori. Taira ... Third son: Taira no Munemori .... Taira no Kiyomori was featured by 19th-century woodblock print artists

Thank you manuD for your time and knowledge. This information will add to the enjoyment of my triptych every time I look at it!
