Takehara ShunchŰsai (竹原春朝斎, dates unknown) was an Osaka printmaker of 'toba-e', illustrator of ehon depicting famous sights in the Kamigata region and shunga books. Pupil of ‘oka Shunboku (大岡春卜,1680-1763). There is no direct connection with Katsushika Hokusai.

He designed women and more specific women's faces in a particular sweet, original manner.

Guy.
