It's a page from an illustrated book, so that makes identification a challenge. The only text reads "Hōtōji" 宝塔寺 (here written in the old-fashioned form 寶塔寺) -- this is the name of a number of Buddhist temples, the most famous of which is in Kyoto. But that one is perched on a hillside, and views of it tend to highlight the dramatic stairs, so I think this is probably a different one.

Your photo doesn't make it clear, but is there some vertical text outside the image frame, possibly clipped? If so, that may provide a clue to the title of the book.
