I have a number of small kabuki actor prints (or senshafuda) circa 1914 all with the same artist name. The first character is 永, which can be read as Hisashi, Ei, Nori, Towa, Naga, Nagai, Haruka, and no doubt other things. But I can't make out the second character of the name. Someone once told me the second character is 昇 or 昪, but I don't think that they were right. (I've attached two images, as the small character is hard to read and it varies slightly from print to print.) The seal appears to be the letter "u" in hiragana. Any help would be appreciated.
