Do not try to restore the print yourself if you don't have experience with Japanese paper!
The likelihood of destroying it or at least seriously damaging it is very high.
What you can do is take the print off the frame. Make a good color copy and keep the print out of light (search the internet for "fading japanese woodblock prints").
You will likely find that removing the print from the backing will cause problems. Often a strong glue was used that is very difficult to remove. Try very, very, very (!!!) carefully to loosen the glue. If you find that it doesn't work, you better leave it as it is.
