Well, I can give you the main title right away: "The Monkey Dance in the Inner Chambers" / Ooku no Sarumai / 大奥の猿舞. Ooku has the meaning of "women's quarters" or even "harem," as it is innermost rooms where the consorts of a major lord would be housed. The style of the work, taken together with this word, makes it strongly reminiscent of Chikanobu's "Chiyoda no Ooku" triptych series.

Some parts of the subtitle / preface confuse me, though some words (mukashi=the deep past; haru=springtime/New Year) are clear. I'll see if I can puzzle them out after a night of sleep!
