Thanks for the speedy and detailed answer. The print was part of the family household (grand parents) but the only piece of Japanese art amongst a lot of European work. Just out of curiosity: Can you think of a particular reason why some-one collecting early 20th century European painters would keep this? Was the artist admired by European painters (in the vein of for instance Van Gogh)? Cheers - M.E.
