Thanks, confusing indeed. Both Andreas Marks and Genshoku Ukiyoe Daihyakka Jiten, vol 3 do mention a starting date in the early 1800s.

The case of Toyoharu is interesting because IMO, there is a possibility that the two uki-e signed Toyoharu, published by Yamaguchiya T˘bei could be Bunka era reissues.
