Hiroshige has designed the prints for at least 22 Tōkaidō series and these have been published by at least 18 different publishers. For the series under discussion here, Andreas Marks names Yamadaya Shōhirō (former Yamadaya Shōbei) as the publisher. I assume that Andreas Marks was actually able to see the cover page and was therefore able to name artist and publisher. And since Mr. Marks works very carefully, it can be assumed that his statement is correct unless proven otherwise.
The series "53 images from the Tōkaidō" (Tōkaidō gojūsan zue, 東海道五十三図絵), of which the second photo is and which can be dated to 1851, was actually published by Fujiokaya Keijirō, but that is a different series than the series "Tōkaidō" (東海道) from c. 1838/42.
