The print is by Kunisada I, here signing “Toyokuni ga“; center and right sheet of a kabuki triptych (left sheet missing). The date cannot be read so that the data are not entirely certain. The roles are (from left) Katsuragi taifu and Fuwa Banzaemon. The actors most likely Sawamura Tanosuke III and Nakamura Shikan IV in the play “Hana katami gojūsan tsugi” performed at the Morita Theater. The publisher is certainly Fujiokaya Keijirō, the date should be 1860, 3rd month or 3rd intercallery month; carver seal is illegible.
