This is a bit of a sidebar, but does anyone know how to read the date at the right side of that backing sheet? Most of it is pretty clear, but there is a character in the "year" field that I cannot identify.

I have: 明治三X年四月廿七日

But what is the "X"? It would make sense as 十, so Meiji 30, but it doesn't look like any way of writing 十 or 拾 that I'm familiar with...
