Some more info.

The actor is Arashi Kichisaburô II (1769-1821) as Katsu'emon in the play 'Iroha uta sakura shûitsu', performed at the Minami-za in Kyoto, 2nd month 1812.

The print is a kappazuri-e (stencil print) sold in Kyoto. It is not uncommon that these rather early and cheap Kyoto kappazuri bear only a publisher seal.

Guy.
