It’s the center sheet of a musha-e triptych by Kunisada I, center and right sheet signed "ōju Kunisada ga", left sheet "Kōchōrō Kunisada ga". Title of the triptych "Righteous Revenge at Hakone" (Hakone reiken ki no adauchi - 箱根霊験記の仇討), description "Iinuma Katsugoro fighting Seguchi Kozuke who is attacking Iinuma's wife". Publisher Ezakiya Kichibei and date c. 1830s.
The signature is on bottom center in two rows (right ōju [応需] - by request - and left Kunisada ga [国貞画] - drawn by Kunisada). Top left of the signature is the kiwame seal [極] which stands for approved. Right of the signature is the publishers mark [Ezakiya, Bakurochō Yonchōme].
