This is the middle sheet of an 1847 triptych design by Utagawa Kuniyoshi entitled "Dōke miburi ken" 道外見ぶりけん, depicting actors playing the game "ken" 拳. It was published by Kazusaya Iwazō 上総屋岩蔵.
