The print is by Kunisada I, here signing "Kōchōrō Toyokuni ga". It's one sheet of a kabuki multisheet composition, most probably the left sheet of a triptych (I don't know the other sheets).
Depcited is Sawamura Chōjūrō V as "x x x jitsuha [=actually] Jūzaburo" (x x x 実ハ重三郎) [partially read] in the play "Kōshoku Shimada monogatari", performed at the Ichimura theatre, Edo, in 3/1850. Publisher is Jōshūya Kinzō, censor seals are Mera and Murata.
