JAC says that, despite the print title being that of the play "Sesshū Gappō ga Tsuji" 摂州合邦ヶ辻, the content of the design actually pertains to the play "Ehon gappō ga tsuji" 絵本合法衢.

JAC also suggests that another print in their collection (No. 08166) appears to belong in a series with this one:

The latter design depicts the play "Date kurabe Okuni kabuki" 伊達競おくにかぶき.
